Meal Planning

I've said a dozen times, I'm not the meal planning type. I like to go to the grocery store, see what is available and fresh and figure out what I'll cook right then. Honestly, I enjoy this style of grocery shopping. Unfortunately, I have realized this isn't the most money savvy way to do it. I have been perusing my last months store receipts and I have been paying a lot more than I would like. And today as I was making my grocery list, I realized that I need to bite the bullet and make a weekly meal plan.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with meal planning. It just wasn't my thing. Well, until now. I am determined to get our spending down and a lot of it goes on groceries. I use coupons religiously but when I don't plan out my purchases carefully, my savings get lost.
